Up to 233 applicants have received a scholarship award of up to $750. Scholarships were awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to PG2, PG3, PG4 current dermatology residents and newly graduated residents in an approved ACGME training program. 

Annual Meeting attendance is required for the entire duration of the meeting in order to receive the scholarship. Scholarship checks will be distributed in person at the conclusion of the meeting, on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025. Checks will be distributed at the registration desk.

The Resident / Early Career Roundtables: Creating Connections for Advice, Leadership, Practice Management and Career Development session is a fantastic opportunity for early career dermatologists to share their triumphs, receive feedback on current career development and make new connections in an environment primarily of their peers.

Residents can meet socially and converse about what they have learned at the meeting. Compare notes with your peers and learn some tips you might have missed. 

Golden Scalpel Knowledge Bowl

Saturday, Nov. 15 | Noon - 1:30 p.m. CT in the Exhibit Hall

Grab a partner and sign up to test your knowledge of dermatologic surgery at the 2025 ASDS Golden Scalpel Knowledge Bowl, graciously supported by Merz Aesthetics. In this jeopardy-style game, teams of two residents compete in fast-paced rounds filled with multiple-choice questions covering dermatologic surgery. The quicker you buzz in with the correct answer, the more points you earn! Everyone wins a prize, but the more rounds your team wins, the better the awards.

Hands-on Workshop for Residents and Fellows-in-Training: Surgical Skills

Saturday, Nov. 15 | 1:30 p.m. - 3:45 p.m CT
Participants will gain expert-guided hands-on experience practicing excision, suturing, linear closure and flap techniques as they rotate through surgical skills stations.
