Improve your clinical and functional knowledge of facial anatomy for cosmetic injections with hands-on training by renowned experts in facial anatomy and injection techniques. Participants will be guided through clinically relevant techniques, safety and improved outcome aspects related to cosmetic facial injections. Each section of the course includes an anatomy demonstration and injection technique demonstration, followed by participant replicating injections and dissections on specimens. This workshop includes all instrumentation, PPE and cadaveric cephalus specimens. Participants should wear scrubs to this workshop. Additional fee (includes lunch) and advance registration required, limited seats.

This exclusive interactive workshop will include high-yield, practical lectures and chairside demonstrations of multiple chemical peels. Participants will learn chemical peel formulations and techniques that maximize the efficacy and safety of superficial to deep chemical peels in a small group setting. Learn nuances about anatomy and reconstruction that you can’t find in textbooks! Participants will improve their surgical skills and knowledge of facial anatomy as renowned experts guide them through the design and execution of an Abbe flap, 3-stage forehead flap and cheek-to-nose interpolation flap. Eyelid reconstruction may be included, time permitting. Some prior experience with facial reconstructive surgery is recommended for registrants. This workshop includes all instrumentation, PPE and cadaveric cephalus specimens. Participants should wear scrubs to this workshop. Patient Demonstrations: Advanced Injection Techniques with 3D, 1:30 – 3:45 p.m.

This live interactive session will feature renowned experts demonstrating advanced injection techniques with dermal fillers, neuromodulators and biostimulators. Participants will observe how faculty use an anatomical approach to facial assessment and demonstrate diverse approaches using structural tissue layers for the precise placement of injections to improve outcomes, minimize complications and enhance natural appearing results. New this year is the option to view the procedures live in 3D!

Patient Demonstrations: Rejuvenation Without Fillers or Toxins, 1:30 – 3:45 p.m.

This live interactive session will feature renowned experts demonstrating rejuvenation and lifting techniques with energy-based devices and thread lifts. Participants will observe how faculty assess treatment areas and utilize an advanced armamentarium of cosmetic dermatology tools and techniques. Faculty will engage in a lively discussion of the pros and cons of various treatments throughout the session.

 

Sunday, Nov. 5

Hands-on Workshop: Residents and Fellows-in-Training Surgical Skills, 8 – 10:30 a.m.

This hands-on workshop is designed for early-career and resident dermatologists. Participants will gain expert-guided hands-on experience practicing excision, suturing, linear closure and flap techniques. Participants will rotate through four surgical skills stations with expert faculty at each station to provide instruction, guidance, tips and techniques to advance their surgical skill set. Additional fee and advance registration required, limited seats.
