Charge:
Charge: To oversee the newly revamp Future Leaders Network which fosters the development of future leaders.
Charge: To select the annual recipients of the Samuel J. Stegman, MD Award for Distinguished Service, the Leadership in Innovation Lectureship, the Award for Outstanding Service, and the Dermatology Foundation’s Clark W. Finnerud and Practitioner of the Year Awards.
Charge: Solicit grants and sponsorship from key corporations for ASDS programs Identify and cultivate relationships with corporate donors. Secure member donations for the DSAF, Stegman Circle and Legacy Circle giving programs.
Provide a forum for industry and ASDS leadership to interact and develop mutually rewarding partnerships for the advancement of the specialty and patient care.
Policy:
Work group members who own or profit from—individually or through a third party— an educational meeting, may not concurrently serve on an education or industry-related work group. If a work group member directs an educational meeting, he/she cannot concurrently serve on an education or industry-related work group if he/she fundraises for the meeting he/she directs. These are judged to be conflicts of interest.
Charge: Develop and implement strategies to build traffic and make the Tradeshow a valuable and enjoyable component of the Annual Meeting.
Charge: To identify strategies to successfully grow membership in specific categories, including Mohs Surgeons, Laser Surgeons and International Dermatologists.
Composition: Members affiliated with ACMS, ASMS, ASLMS and international organizations.
Charge: Foster the exchange of information and education in dermatologic surgery through the International Traveling Mentorship Program.
Charge: Based on the assessment of members’ needs and in keeping with the organization’s CME mission, increase the knowledge base and skill set of the membership through the annual scientific meeting.

Charge: Increase the basic and advnaced knowledge base and skill set of dermatologic surgeons through multi-media educational programs which grow in attendance and particpation each year.

Charge: Oversee the Accreditation Program for Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship Programs.
Charge: Support the surgical directors in their practice, research and teaching responsibilities and defining areas of common interests and concerns.
Charge: Increase awareness and knowledge, among the public, of the scope of practice of dermatologic surgeons as the experts and providers of choice for skin procedures and THE health and beauty experts.
Charge: Develop strategies and tools for educating patients on dermatologic surgery procedures/treatment options.
Charge: Oversee the journal writing incentive programs and provide direction for journal-related awards, as needed.
Charge: Oversee the annual dermatologic surgery procedures and consumer surveys; promote and publish results.
Develop strategies to drive public awareness of ASDS members as experts and member engagement on the Society’s social media channels.
ASDS Social Media Liaison
Defined: ASDS Social Media Liaisons are ASDS residents or early-career members who curate content for the ASDS social media networks. ASDS Social Media Liaisons must align to the ASDS Social Media Guidelines and ASDS Social Media Ambassador requirements.

Charge: To develop strategies to increase member participation on ASDS Connect.
Charge: To generate and vet new revenue generating program and service ideas for consideration by the Board of Directors.
