Committees and work groups play an essential role in advancing the mission of ASDS and ASDSA. These groups develop action plans, implement Society and Association programs and make recommendations to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Appointments are typically three-years terms beginning at the ASDS Annual Meeting each fall.
Throughout the year, work is accomplished through conference calls, via email communications and occasional in-person meetings that occur in conjunction with either the ASDS Annual Meeting or the AAD Winter Meeting. We make every effort to hold at least one in-person meeting annually.
Should you be appointed to a committee or work group, we encourage you to approach the role with a strong commitment to advancing the mission and excellence of ASDS and ASDSA.
