The ASDS International Preceptorship Program sends an international dermatologic surgeon to the U.S. to shadow a Preceptor, observing a variety of treatments and advanced techniques, consulting with patients and more. This helps foster an exchange of dermatologic surgery knowledge between international colleagues and helps to improve patient care. Limited funding is available. One international dermatologist is selected annually.
