This program assists members in distinguishing themselves as experts in all skin types and spread the word that anyone can be affected.

In an effort to promote sun protection and skin cancer prevention, the SPF For All program promotes the installation of public sunscreen dispensers.

A program educating hair stylists about the signs of skin cancer on the scalp and when they should refer clients to an ASDS dermatologist.

Educate coaches, parents, children and outdoor enthusiasts about appropriate sun-safe behaviors.

This program was created in an effort to grow diversity and inclusivity in dermatologic surgery to educate patients about key components to maintaining healthy skin through sun safety. Sun protection is a key component to both skin cancer prevention and achieving healthy, beautiful skin for life.

ASDSA’s SUNucate model legislation allows children to possess and use sunscreen in school and camp without a prescription or physician’s note.
