Established through the Lawrence Field, MD, International Dermatologic Surgery Education Exchange Fund in 2010, this program enhances the exchange of information and body of knowledge of dermatologic surgery between the U.S. and international community of dermatologic surgeons. ASDS assists dermatologic surgeons to visit a host institution in another country – or host a dermatologic surgeon from another country – for a defined period of teaching, surgical demonstration and table-side exchange.
