Supporting its mission to foster, support, develop and encourage investigative knowledge in dermatologic surgery, ASDS provides members with the tools and assistance they need to achieve the highest standards in clinical practice and patient care.

Cutting Edge Research Grants

Uniting education and innovation in dermatologic surgery, this program awards up to $100,000 each year to stimulate research relevant to dermatologic surgery and/or cutaneous oncology.

The Fredric S. Brandt, MD, Innovations in Aesthetics Fellowship Fund

Funded by The Allergan Foundation in memory of ASDS member and cosmetic dermatology pioneer Fredric S. Brandt, MD, this fund supports research of up to two Fellows per year who are enrolled in an ASDS-accredited Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship Training Program.

Research Assistance

Available resources include a research project checklist; research protocol, budgets, consent form templates; statistics and IRB resources; and funding sources.
