ASDSA has developed two new Shared Decision-Making Tools. Shared decision-making, when patients and physicians make decisions together through conversation and deliberation, supported by medical evidence, has shown to lead to improved health outcomes.

In an Instagram Live event, ASDSA Policy Priorities Work Group Chair Anthony Rossi, MD, discussed how these were created, how to utilize the tools to talk to patients about treatment options and ways ASDSA members can provide feedback.
